Welcome to 2023 – a year when we hope to see ski racing get closer to “normal” following the many disruptions in recent times.

Please note – membership application forms and declarations went out on 1 December 2022. Please check your emails for the email subject “Ski Racing Australia (SRA) 2023 Membership Application Forms”.  Membership and declaration forms are available from the Ski Racing Australia website https://skiracing.com.au/membership/

The SRA Board is confident that this season will proceed, including racing on the Hawkesbury River in NSW.

We are now planning for 10 classics this year.  While levels on the Murray River are returning to normal, there are ongoing impacts on the river and in the adjacent communities. As such, the Murray Classic races may need to be rescheduled to dates later than usual, but the goal is still to run them all.  Members will be updated with Event information as it becomes available from event organisers.

All going to plan, we are also aiming to run all the point scores, grand prix, state titles and possibly Australian team selection races.

We are cautiously confident that we’ll be able to put on a loaded calendar in 2023, but we ask that you continue to be understanding while we try to navigate our way out of the weeds that were 2020 to 2022.

So please get your membership applications completed as the first priority, so we’re all ready to race as soon as possible!

Members aged 13 and over who are not completing a CPR course this season are required to complete the Online First Aid questions https://skiracing.com.au/membership/2020-2021-first-aid/

Yours in racing
