Ski Racing Australia Board Update – Issue 11
Dear Members,
Please see the attached letter from Nayland Aldridge, Senior Maritime Investigations Officer NSW Maritime for reference.
As indicated in this letter, the Special Purpose Investigation into Water Ski Racing in NSW is now complete and the final report has been submitted to the Executive Director NSW Maritime.
Additional information provided by Ski Racing Australia (SRA) which was outside the investigation parameters and was important to share regarding Aquatic License requirements has also been received by NSW Maritime.
The Executive Director NSW Maritime is conducting briefings with the relevant Ministers’ Offices” and the report should be made available after this.
SRA continue to progress on the new policies and procedures to return us all to racing as soon as possible as we await the final report from Maritime NSW.
As indicated previously we expect to hold meetings with the Executive Director NSW Maritime to plan the way forward post report.
SRA are planning on holding communication forums for Vic/SA and NSW/ACT/Qld in an on-line video format for all members to attend as soon as practical after the report is available.
