UPDATE FROM SKI RACING AUSTRALIA – 20 March 2024

The Ski Racing Australia Board have approved the following recommendations from the SRA – Race Committee and SRA – Safety Committee to be implemented for the 2024 Mildura 100.

  1. 90 Mph speed cap for Social classes at the Mildura 100.
  2. Pre event Scrutineering of all Social ski, Race Skis and Skiers’ equipment to be completed before use at the Mildura 100.
  3. SRA Race Committee to review Full entry list for Social classes to identify areas of concern and appropriateness of class entered.
  4. SRA Race Committee to review Full entry list for Expert classes to identify areas of concern and appropriateness of class entered.

SKIER EQUIPMENT SCRUTINEERING NOTICE – 2024 MILDURA 100

A requirement of Ski Racing Australia is that ALL SKIERS competing must present their race equipment to Scrutineers for inspection prior to competing at the Mildura 100.

When: You are required to attend the SRA Scrutineering session which will be held on Friday 29th March between 10am and 5pm

Where: Scrutineering will be located at the Midway Centre, 6 Midway Drive Buronga, the same venue as briefing and pack pickup.

Skiers Equipment to be Presented

  • Ski/s – Rail & Social
  • Wetsuit (That have not been float tested previously)
  • Helmet
  • Handles – Expert & Social
  • Rope/s – Expert & Social

Please present your equipment where it will be checked, recorded and certain pieces of equipment will be labelled for identification.

Please make sure that your equipment complies with the SRA 2024 Rulebook, as any equipment presented that does not meet the SRA Rulebook standards will not be passed.

Any competitor who has not presented their equipment for Scrutineering shall be ineligible to race. 

Please Note: Random checks will be carried out over the weekend to ensure that competitors are using the equipment presented at Scrutineering.

It is your responsibility to maintain your equipment at all times.
